Message from ED

“The 1st of January, 2021 marks 24 years of Damnok Toek. The organisation started with five educators and a few teachers for the street-involved children. It has since grown from no infrastructure to now having safe buildings to provide children with homes, healthcare, and education.

We have had to adapt in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the Non-Formal Education (NFE) Damnok Toek’s teachers and social workers have continued to deliver lessons and ensure homes are safe for children in the communities. From once eating lunch together at the centres through the NFE project to delivering emergency food packages to children’s families. Damnok Toek works in cooperation with donors and government agencies to make sure vulnerable children and youth have their basic needs addressed.

We are thankful to all stakeholders involved with our mission including donors, networks, government agencies, and especially our staff, and the cooperation from children and their parents in the communities. We could not make these achievements possible without the contribution from all of our stakeholders involved to help our mission of providing protective services for ALL vulnerable children and youth!”
